Description: A few weeks ago, I made my first visit to the California State Fair in Sacramento.  Though the heat could have been turned down a bit, I had a great time, despite not going on any of the rides.

As we were leaving for the day, we caught the last few minutes of the TNT Big Air Freestyle Motocross (FMX) demo.  Watching these guys up close fly through the air, letting go of their bikes, doing flips, you name it…was quite incredible.  I was fortunate to get a good vantage point to capture a few of their aerobatic acts.

Description: Photowalking.org organized a downtown Sacramento neon photo walk last month that I had the opportunity to attend.  I met up with Thomas Hawk, Trevor Carpenter, and about 40 others (sorry, I’m very bad with names).  We walked all over downtown Sacramento, capturing as much neon as we could possibly handle.  I had a great time and hope to join photowalking.org again in the near future.
