Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk
On August 23, 2008, Scott Kelby held a Worldwide Photowalk to celebrate the release of his book, “The Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers.” Due to popularity, San Francisco ended up holding three separate walks: along the Embarcadero, within the Haight-Ashbury, and at Seal Rocks Beach.
I participated in the Haight-Ashbury walk and had a great time. I even met a fellow FriendFeeder, Andre Maltais. It is always fun to meet new photographers in the area as well as put a face to a name from the virtual world. With social networks these days, the majority of the people you converse with almost daily, you’ll never actually meet.
I have posted a good majority of the pictures I took that day on Flickr and Andre posted his pictures as well.
