City Lights Bookstore #003 [Photo]
Description: The City Lights Bookstore is one of the few remaining fully independent bookstores in the nation. It was also the nation’s first all-paperback bookstore and has been declared a “Literary Landmark.” As I walked by the bookstore during this Monday night photowalk, I realized, over the past 8+ years of living in San Francisco, I have never taken a picture or tried to capture it. I took nearly 30 different photos of the bookstore on this particular evening and found this one to stand out the most. The lone walker in the right of the frame is subtle, yet brings life to the picture.
